It was a big night at the local Community Hall. Bingo and dancing! “22...two little ducks quack quack!” The winner was announced, the tables were cleared and the band took the stage. Dressed to impress this cool combo were ready to strut their stuff! Especially the young guitarist, the 11 year old (going on 12) Craig McLachlan! With a velvet top, navy flares and a proper grown up electric guitar he made his public performance debut.

Since then he’s been a fave on TV, won a load of Logies, starred on stage, was handed a Helpmann, recorded a tune or two, received an ARIA and yodelled with the Bee Gees while waiting to sing for The Queen! Yes That Queen!
